Getting to Bug's Land at DCA??

Okay, I'm trying to imagine what the park is like now that it's all torn up for Cars Land. Is Bug's Land staying?

If so, how do you get there? I thought the place where you veer left after Sunshine Plaze is where Cars Land is going.

I'm just having a hard time envisioning it......

A Bug's Land is staying put for now. You can still enter through the traditional entrance past It's Tough to be a Bug OR you can enter now through the new entrance by Tower of Terror.

You can see that the banners for "A Bug's Land" and "Flik's Fun Fair" (to the far left and center respectively) are untouched by the construction walls.

Yes, you're right. We were just there today and they had the end of the hollywood backlot area blocked off so you have to go through the regular Bug's Land entrance to get there - you can't take the new path all the way through. And since that is the only way to get to and from TOT and Aladdin now it made for a very crowded Bug's Land.

Right - I wonder how long it's going to stay like this - one of the beauties of Bug's Land in summer is that it was so uncrowded.

Slightly off topic - have they now re-opened the Tot fastpass distribution?

Correct - My sister was there last Monday and could get to HT and TOT through the regular way, but Saturday we had to go through Bugs Land. It was rediculously crowded - as were the bathrooms in BL.

Ok just to clarify. Carsland is in the back behind the Tortilla Factory.

Farmers Market and Dots puddle Park and everything that used to be in that area is now gone! Totally gone! It’s a bugs life is still standing, and all the kiddy rides in bugs land at Flick’s fun fair is still there. I have uploaded this from the map so you can see, the green tree’s are where farmes market and Dots puddle park used to be, eventually it will be the opening to carsland,

Sunshine plaza is still standing, they do have construction walls around the giant sun, but it has not been taken down yet, and right now they main stage for the electronica pre-show is there.and the park is really all torn up persay, I mean there isn’t a lot of construction walls up at all, you do see walls when you enter the gates but it’s not bad.. the mural is being taken down though.

And you still enter bugs land as you normally, but you can’t get to it from Hollywood backlot, they have that closed off because they are doing the trolly stuff over there.
