Getting to BOG breakfast ADR

DH and I are staying off-site and we have a 8:10 BOG ADR in January. I've read that transportation from TTC only starts an hour before opening, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think driving straight to MK is the way to go. My plan right now is that we'll take a taxi to the Contemporary and ride the monorail to MK. Do you foresee any issues with that plan? And I'm thinking the ride from the resort to MK would be pretty short - is that correct?

I know a variation of this question has been posted a lot, so thanks for taking the time to check this one out; I'm excited and just want to make sure that what I have in mind works!

If you take a cab to the Contemporary, you could walk to the Magic Kingdom too (quite possibly quicker than the monorail).
Enjoy BOG - we had an early pre-park ADR in August and loved it!

Walking to the MK from CR should only take 10 min. Taking the monorail means first stopping at the TTC, Poly, and GFR before getting to the MK.

You could still drive to the TTC and take the resort monorail to the MK. If it is operating, it usually starts around 7:30.

If you have an AP, you park for free at MK. If this is case I would drive. Waiting on a cab to begin with will cause anxiety. Not a great way to start your day. Even if you pay to park, overall, it will be less than a ride to and from MK. If you do opt for taxi, a walk from Contemporary faster than Monorail.

We have 7:15 CP breakfast reservations, we are staying offsite for an 8 am opening, 7am EMH. What is our best bet for getting to our ADR?
