Getting to Backstage Magic Tour from Beach Club?

We are supposed to meet at guest services at the front of Epcot for the tour and was wondering if we can enter though the International Gateway prior to park opening and walk through to the front exit?

I doubt it. I took a taxi from the Dolphin when I t did the tour. Kind of crazy but it is not convenient walk from the boardwalk area around outside the park.

I did the tour in 2010 and was told differing information from the tour CM's when I booked the tour and from the concierge CM's at the YC. Tour said I could go through IG early as they would let me in, but the YC staff told me no.

I did not want to chance it and took a cab from YC. It took 6min and cost around $8. The tour was fantastic! I just can not believe that staying at a EPCOT resort, you can not get to the front of EPCOT for this tour by walking. It makes no sense. I took a survey at the end of our trip regarding the tour and expressed my concern about this. A CM called me back and offered me 4FP's (FP-) for our next trip.

Okay, that is really weird and inconvenient. I'm staying at BC and have to take a cab to the front of Epcot for the tour?

we've done several tours that started at guest services in epcot over the last 10 years. we have always been able to go in the international gateway. the folks at the gate had a list with the early ADR folks and the tour folks.
