How easy is it to get to and from WL without a car when you are not a guest at that resort? :teleport:
We'd like to have dinner at Artist's Point; I was thinking we could catch the resort bus from the park we will be at, and after dinner, take a bus back to one of the park (preferably MK or the TTC). Is this allowed even though we are staying at another of the resorts? And do they run late enought to the TTC to allow us to do this?
:disrocks:

Yes, you can take a bus (or boat) from the parks to the WL for dinner and back again! Take a bus from Epcot, AK, or MGM. Take the boat from MK! :sunny:

The TTC is practically right across the street from WL, so hopping a bus to there will make getting around easy (Or take the boat back to MK).

The only thing I can ad is that you have to be carefull. You may have reservations at a restaurant, but the boats only hold so many bodies, and if you can't get on a particular boat, you will have to wait for another,{and I speak from personal experience} or you will have to go all the way back out front and down to the bus stop, and possibly miss your reservation. IMHO, you would be better to take a bus if you have Priority Seating, or, ADR as they refer to them now. :boat: :moped:
The boats are fine as long as you are not trying to get to a scheduled meal.

:cool1:

I haven't stayed at the WL since Dec. and at that time there was a bus from WL to the TTC. Since then, I have read on these boards that the TTC bus from WL has been stopped. There is now a bus from WL to MK instead.

Thanks all :goodvibes . We'll actually be coming from AK to WL, so we'll use the bus. Going back to MK by boat might be nice (!), and then we can head back to SOG or hang on Main Street for awhile. :cool1:

Definitely ride the boat to MK from WL. And there's no reason you wouldn't be able to take the bus/boat/whatever if you're staying at a different resort. WDW transportation is for all WDW guests. Even if there was a bus to TTC from WL, I wouldn't use it. That would just involve a time-wasting transfer.

There are no more resort buses from the TTC. You have to catch buses at the parks to get to the resorts.

If the parks are closed, you can take one to Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island. But as stated they do not run to the TTC anymore.

Actually, Chip 'n' Dale Express has revealed that the TTC route will resume after the MK closes. But I doubt the OP has to worry about it.

Thank you for all the tips...I'm trying to convince my DH that we don't need the extra expense of a car rental, and it looks pretty workable!
