Getting to an early breakfast ADR

We have an 8.10am ADR for breaskfast at Tusker House. AK opens at 9am that day so what time do the resort buses start to run.

I seem to remember that the buses start about an hour before park opening so if this is correct then we would not be able to get from SSR to AK in time.

Do I need to change my ADR to a later time or will I be able to get there using Disney buses (we won't have a car until later that week).

Buses will be running, but they could be few and far between. Check in at the bell services/taxi stand at your resort for more details. We generally get out 45 minutes ahead of our ADR time (even for ADRs made for before park opens) and have always done fine.

The only wrinkle with AK is that you should NOT hop in a taxi as a last resort (unless someone can pipe up to say that this practice has changed). What happened to us is that we were running a little late and took a taxi, then sat and sat and sat (meter running!) in a queue because AK does not open the entrance for cars early. We watched helplessly as buses rolled right through their special entrance....

Buses will start running for character breakfasts at around 7 am. I would be out at the bus stop prior to 7 am since buses don't come frequently that early in the morning. We had a Tusker House 8:05 brkfst adr & were on a bus to AK between 7-7:15.

I asked the same thing the other day. I was told the buses start as early as 6:30. A friend who goes to Disney at least once a year confirmed this for me.

Buses are provided for those early morning tours and ADRs. They start running between 6:15-6:30. They don't run as frequently as regular park buses though. For an 8:10 ADR, I would be out at the AK bus stop by 7:15, no later.
