We have an ADR for CP at 8:05 on a day that MK opens at 9.

Will there be buses running early enough to get us there? Do we need to drive? Should we drive even if we don't need to?

Personally I would take the bus, they start running around 7am I do believe. Maybe a bit earlier.

I have never had a problem getting to an 8:05 adr in the park but I always allow 45 minute to get there just in case.

Buses start between 6:30-7:00. You'll be fine. Do allow yourself 45 min. for travel time like a pp suggested. No need to drive yourself.

Buses start at 6:30am.

I would be at the bus stop of your resort at 6:50-7:00.

. . . congrats

. . . buses pull out on the road at 6:45am
. . . they starts to arrive at resorts about 7:00am-7:10am
. . . they run every 1-20 minutes

Do we need to drive?
. . . this is America, no one NEEDS to do anything
. . . except, maybe, pay taxes

Should we drive even if we don't need to?
. . . unless you like to drive, I would not
. . . just be at the resort bus stop by 7:15am
. . . 7:05am would be even better

We had breakfast ADRS every morning before a park opened and had no problems getting in early; they had our reservation on a list that they checked before letting us through the turnstile.

We have the same question, only we are going to Chef Mickey's at 7:05 am and trying to get to MK around rope drop (8 am that day). Should we just be at our bus stop (we are at Pop) at 6:30 to get there on time or should we drive?

For an ADR that early at a resort I would take your car and park at the resort not at the TTC. but then you can't leave your car parked at the reosrt all day. There is a very good chance you will not make rope drop.

Thanks for responding!!! I figured we wouldn't make rope drop, but we will get there pretty quick anyway :) I think my dad and his wife are going to The Holy Land Experience that day so I might make them drive the van back to our resort so we can hop on the monorail and get there quicker! :cool1:

In my opinion, this question is important enough and asked frequently enough that the answer should be a sticky at the top of this forum (and maybe the transportation forum too).
