it seems to me the more research i do, the more it looks like i should just go to the disney site and pay whatever they ask, it seems like the price for a room and tickets is just as comperable to anything else. anybody got anything specific to help me keep my sanity? we are planning on using southwest outta philly, using the disney transport from the airport, and staying on site the whole time. besides making my 2 yo daughter the happiest girl in the world, i just wanna play two rounds of golf...... someone, please tell me what to do... haha

First things first... pick your dates and decide on where you want to stay. The dates have to be up to you. If you want help with where to stay, post your dates, who and how old is each memeber of your party, and your budget for lodging.

For me, sticking with one Forum (ie Disney for Families) helped. Just ask your questions one at a time. Keep in mind, even after reservations are made, most things can be changed and discounts and rate codes can be applied.

It's supposed to be fun! :teeth:

ok it seems like 2/6 to 2/13, me, wife, and 2 year old daughter, prolly stay in one of the value resorts, $2,000 for flights, room and tickets.

Discount code ZCL

call ASAP as there are a limited number of rooms at this rate :woohoo:

Do you already have room and all booked? When we went last year our dd's were 2 and 8. All star movies was the best for us because of te larger than life disney characters!

I research quite a bit as well, and found that peicing together stuff from discount ticket places and what-not didn't save anything over just booking online with disney. Go figure. Maybe we went at a time with a good deal or something. If you save yourself a whopping $50 but gave yourself a two week migraine in the process, did you gain anything of value? :confused3

As far as the crazy plan-a-holics you run into here, don't let thtem scare you. I like to know what's what, and then armed with a little knowledge and plenty of common sense, off we go. :sunny:

Yup, I was just going to say to use the ZCM or ZCL codes for that time frame. If you can't get rooms with that code, join AAA -- the $$$ for a yearly membership (usually in the $50-$75 range) will probably save you several hundred dollars over what the rack rate on Disney's site quotes. If you can use the ZCM or ZCL codes, there is no need for AAA, though.
