We are booked at All Star Sports October 3-13. We will be driving from MA and depending on when we leave (dh may or may not have to work that weekend before we head out) we may get there a day early. With our reservations set for the 3rd how difficult would it be to check it on the 2nd and would we be able to stay in that room for the duration? I know answers posted will be hypotheticals especially with the free dining ending around then rooms might be booked but wanted to feel out the situation. We are prepared to spend a night in a hotel in Orlando if Nec. but would rather stay the whole time in WDW!

When will you know your arrival? We added on a day at the beginning of our trip to AKL in May and had to take a standard view room. We moved into a savana view room the next day. While this at first sounds convenient, it really wasn't. With 3 kids along, we still had lots of stuff to pack-up after one night. Then, our savana view room wasn't ready until 4:30; so our luggage was in storage all day. Every time we wanted to get something, we felt like we needed to tip the valet staff. This past weekend, we decided to fly into MCO the night before our originally planned morning arrival. Since we thought the odds of being able to stay in the same room at WL were pretty small, we decided to give another resort a try for one night.
