Getting the Hyatt MCO on Hotwire?

I know how to get it and have done so in the past but I've been patiently waiting for our late Oct date to offer the Hyatt but so far I haven't "seen" it later than Oct 4.

Just curious, has anyone gotten Hyatt MCO after Oct 4?

Would you care to share your trick of how to get it? We are considering it for our last night in October but Hotwire makes me so nervous. Could you PM me?

Enter your dates on HW and search. Hyatt MCO is a 4* in the 'MCO area'. When you click on 'continue' scroll down to the little map and you still the hotel's tripadvisor rating. Hyatt MCO will be 4.5* out of 5 with 140+ reviews. This last part is most important.

It helps to do a dry run and see. You can't accidentally buy something w/o entering a cc.

It's currently showing on Aug 28 if you enter 2 adults, 2 children just to see what it looks like.

I prefer HW for 2 reasons:

1. PL will only guarantee sleeping for 2. On HW I can enter 2 adults, 2 children and know we'll all have a bed without begging.

2. With PL, you really have no idea what hotel you'll get. For some that's fine but I really like the Hyatt MCO and I like that I'm 99.9% sure that I'll get it when I see it on HW. It's ultra convenient pre-cruise & for late arriving flights.


I'm still waiting for Oct 30. If it doesn't show on HW, there's always the option of a stay certificate. $136 + $6 s/h for Choice Level.

Also my parents will be cruising with us and the Senior rate is only $129 + tax.

Priceline has the Hyatt Regency as 3-1/2*, and betterbidding.com list indicates that there are 3 other hotels with that rating in the airport zone. You would be taking a chance on Priceline if you really want that particular hotel. You are still pretty far out from your travel date for getting the best deals on Hotwire. I would just wait it out for a while to see if a 4* hotel shows up on Hotwire in the airport zone for your date - and hopefully using the information for the other poster you can pinpoint the 4* to the Hyatt Regency.
