Around three months ago or so Amazon started doing delivery with its own logistics operation around here. About 90% of the stuff I ordered was now shipped via this method with the rest coming from USPS/FedEx/UPS. I though finally everything would get to me on time for the most part because of this, but nope. It now seems worse. One day shipping becomes two-day. Two-day becomes 3 if not 4.
Then this happens:
Placed a order Monday afternoon. A Tuesday delivery with Amazon was stated. Tuesday morning Amazon claims the stuff is out for delivery, and would be to me by 2PM. 2PM became 4PM, then 6PM, then by 9PM. Then it updates with due to a shipping problem it will now be delivered between 5/23-5/27. I called Amazon about it this afternoon. They have no idea where the order even is. It went from a Amazon warehouse onto a Amazon truck, but they can't find it. Unbelievable.
The guy I talked with (who was very nice about the whole thing) offered to extend my Prime membership by a month and offered me a 15% refund due to the problem. I told him I would take the 15% but not the extra month. I am done with Prime once my membership is done. It is becoming more of a hassle then it is worth.

Also, the majority of items I used to get from Walmart, they no longer list as available online, only in store.
Once one bag breaks, a 16 oz can is loose. That's enough to break all the other bags. Then ALL of the cans going banging around the inside of the box, denting each other and eventually breaking through the flimsy cardboard box. They actually had to resend a whole shipment recently because UPS reported the shipment damaged beyond being salvageable. EVERYTHING must have gone flying all over the conveyor belt.
Other times, I know UPS sealed up the holes & rips in the sides of the boxes to contain what's inside, because Target couldn't bother to properly tape up the boxes themselves with more than one piece of tape. This has happened to me more than once. So, I'm sure many, many other customers have had the same thing happen to them too.
