I'm so excited, I can barely stand it. We are telling our teens on Halloween night that we are going to spend Thanksgiving at Disney. They will have three weeks to prepare, but I've been planning for months. We've got the big reveal planned out; can't wait to see their reactions. Their pumpkin is loaded with a paper chain that reads, "DD and DS, it not a trick, it's really a treat, at the end of this chain, we're getting on a plane."

I once surprised my son, when he was 7. I woke him up super early & told him his grandmother & I had decided to go to the beach for a vacation (not a total lie since we were staying at CBR). Anyway, i wanted to see how far we could make it before he figured out where we were going. I guess I did too good of job because he didn't figure it out until we were at the front desk & the CM had to tell him 3 times.

So, there is some merit to give them time to prepare & let them enjoy the anticipation. I hope you all have a wonderful trip!
