Getting ready to book but short 62 pts?

I am getting ready to book this month for our 11 month window at BCV. I will be short 62 points if I decide to book the larger 2 bedroom unit. Can I pay for the 62 points in cash thru member services? Or do you think maybe we can rent two studios? Are the studios connecting? Not sure what I am able to do as this will be our first visit home and we will be taking along extended family Thanks!

Why don't you just borrow the 62 from your 2010 Use Year? This way you'll have the acommodations you want and don't have to worry about switching rooms with a cash/point stay.

No Studios are not connecting to other studios. The only options are dedicated studios and studios that match up with 1 bedrooms to make a 2 bedroom unit.

Also no you cannot pay cash for those 62 points you can however pay cash for the room night by night and they may be able to tie both reservations in together so you do not have to move from yoru cash room to yoru "point" room.

Yes, I would do that.....
Book as much as you can with points and then book the remainder on a night by night with cash. They can link ressies for you so you won't have to change rooms. I just did this because we were using my points and my parents points and we didn't want to transfer- it worked great.

If you make a cash reservation, make it through MS not CRO. If you make a cash reservation through MS, they will be able to link that reservation with your points reservation so it's one seamless trip. If you book through CRO, you will have to check out and check in on the day your reservation changes. And you may have to move.

Most likely the reservation will be at rack rate for the cash nights.

If you want to use just points and don't have enough to borrow (maybe you already borrowed them), you could try for a transfer from another member into your account. The other member would have to have BCV points as well so you could use those transferred points at 11 months out.

Are you looking for the 2 bedroom dedicated w/2 queens in the 2nd bedroom? I don't believe they book those for cash.

Thanks everyone for your replies. This is all new to me! I thought perhaps I can get some info here prior to calling MS. I'm not sure quite what type of rooms I'll be booking but it would need to be two rooms so far for sure.
