We must be crazy! We have done split stays twice before, but this will be our first tri-stay. We leave Thursday.

Art of Animation - Nemo Suite - 3 nts (FD with ticket package, even though we are now DVC we had to stay here for 3 nts to try it out)

Beach Club Villas - 4 nts - would have taken this for the remaining 7 nts but it was only avail. 4.

Animal Kingdom Kidani Village - 3 nts (we originally booked Saratoga for our last 3 but couple weeks ago I decided I couldnt stay away from kidani, have stayed here twice before, so switched it.

Are we nuts???

Do you have kids???
If so, maybe a little crazy ;)

We are doing our 1st split stay this New years. 4 nights at AoA and 11 at AKV-kidani. I have to admit we are excited to try it out. We, too, are DVC and HAD to try AoA out.

Let us know how it goes!

We've done a tri-stay and we'll be doing one on our trip in a few weeks again (BCV, BLT and BWV). We don't mind because it's only DH and myself, but I can see how it'd be a hassle with kids.

At least you'll get the opportunity to stay at 3 resorts and check out AoA!

Don't stress over it. As long as you live out of your suitcases and don't unpack to much I think you'll do fine. Remember " You're in WALT DISNEY WORLD", so have Fun!:thumbsup2

We've done at least three with the kids in tow, and it's not nearly as bad as you think it is. We love trying out new resorts in one trip! Most of our stays are split stays, actually. We've only had two where we've been at the same resort the entire time. Our most recent was two nights at AKV, two nights at SoG, then five nights at BC. Personally, I took a semi-solo (turned out not to be solo at all) and hit ASMu (my first time at a value!) for one night, Dolphin (not as bad as I thought...if you're on the inside, you don't have to see the outside! ;)) for three nights, then BC for three nights. I just make sure I pack us in sections so we only get out what we need at each hotel.

I'm doing a tri-stay in October because I also wanted to try out AoA. Originally had 3 nights at VWL and 4 nights at BWV. I added one night at the beginning to see the new resort. Since it is only me, I don't anticipate any problems.

I have one 4 year old. We have done split stays the past 2 years with him, and its never been too bad, but this is our first tri-stay! A little hectic to unpack all the "products"(toothpaste, hair products, etc) but never too bad. We are excited to be trying 2 new resorts we've never stayed at (AoA and Beach Club Villas!)

No, you are not crazy! We are doing a triple stay trip in January...2 nights at AoA LM, 3 nights at Rosen Shingle Creek and 4 nights at AoA Lion King Suite. The only that I am afraid of is losing valuable park time when we move from hotel to hotel. But, my husband's company is having a convention at the Rosen so at least a portion of our trip is free!

We dont really lose park time - I have it planned.

On Sunday, it is switch from AoA to BCV and our park is HS that day so we will take the bus over to HS, and DH and DS will go into the park, and I will run over to BCV and check us in, get key cards, etc and go back to the park. It helps the park is close.

On Thursday, it will then be switch to AKV-Kidani, and our park is AK so we will do the same thing.

If you plan it well, and just have one person go check in for everyone it doesnt have to be a loss.

What a great idea! We will have to try that! Thanks for the advise. I hope you have a wonderful trip.
