Getting ready for my first Disney vacation!!!

Hi, I am new here and new to Disney!!! We will be going to Disney in September 6-16, staying at POFQ with free dining. I am actually getting really excited about this trip I will be going with SO and his daughter (8), my dd (12), and SO's parents. I am the only one that has never been!

We booked all of our ADRs at 180 days out and we have some really good ones . Dd has a gluten intolerance...so any tips would be helpful. We noted it on our ADRs and I will be emailing Disney, but I am nervous about the selection at the CS places.

In addition we will be going to Universal Studios on the Tuesday - I don't know why, but I am just not too excited about it

Also, we planned doing a Blizzard Beach on the Thursday, but I think will we skip it as we have an early ADR at 'Ohana

I have been reading all the trip reports and have gotten a lot of good information. SO rolls his eyes when he sees me looking at them...I must admit that I am a little but obsessed

Welcome...I think we are All a little bit obsessed. DH does the same thing when he sees me on the boards. Congrats on your upcoming trip! As far as gluten allergy and CS, I guess you should just stick with the foods you know that doesn't contain gluten, meats, rice, dairy. I am sure there will be plenty for her to choose from as long as she isn't a picky eater. I am sure any chicken nuggets will have gluten breading but you never know, they may have gluten rolls for burgers/hot dogs if you ask. You can always call your resort and ask or bring some GF rolls with you.

Have lots of fun....you are going to love it, especially with a big group going

Congrats on your first trip!! We will also be going to POFQ in September with Free Dining... AND we will also be visiting Harry Potter during our trip. I am a bit of a Harry Potter maniac, so I'm pretty excited about that part of the trip. Hope you have a great time!!!
