Getting picked

I was just wondering how they pick for parades. I know that DD would love to be in a parade. Anything we can do to increase her/our chances???

Grand Marshalls are picked entirely at random. There is no guaranteed way to be picked. There is, however, 1 sure-fire, absolutely fool-proof way to not get picked: asking.
Your chances of getting picked to be in a parade are much greater at Disney's Animal Kingdom, as there are several floats that carry guests.
