Getting Nervous for my 180 day!

What time can you start reserving ADRs on the 180 mark?

I'm getting nervous because I'm 3 days out from my 180 day and I just finally came up with a plan of where I want to eat but I keep seeing threads that people are having trouble getting ADRs because of Free Dining. I've never had issues in the past getting ADRs but I've never been during Free Dining. Additionally we are doing a short trip so not as much flexibility as I'm used to.

So right now our plan is:
November 15 arrive at MCO at 11:30 and do a CS then hit MVMCP
November 16 AK/DHS - Tusker House Breakfast before park open and Sci-Fi for dinner
November 17 EPCOT - Garden Grill for Dinner
November 18 - BOG lunch and Crystal Palace Dinner

So, I figure I should try for BOG lunch first, then for Tusker House breakfast and then the rest. Does this plan make since? Any suggestions for alternative restaurants if I don't get what is listed above? It is just me and my mom going and we are very plain eaters so restaurants like the ones at AK resort do not appeal to us.

Thanks in advance

you can start on the website at 6am. have your first choice all lined up and at 6am just keep hitting "find tables" when the window opens it should list the available times. Good luck! We had luck with entering actual times instead of "lunch/dinner/breakfast" there should be 10:30 and 10:45 BOG openings for that week.

Our 180 day window was this morning. What I did was started with the most popular restaurants and tried to get them at the end of our stay and worked my way to our arrival day. I managed to get all that we planned, but instead of chefs, I got a BOG dinner! I think it was a worthy compromise. Just be ready to go at 6 am. If the website had glitches, try again. That's what happened this morning, but we were very successful for our first 180 day window.

Do not be concerned if you can't get Garden Grill right away (I hope you do, but it seems extra problematic right now). They are clearly holding back some tables for the various fall and winter dining packages. Once those are announced, some extra availability should open up.

I just checked for you-there is an 8am Tusker House res for the 16th and some early Garden Grill openings on the 17th-good luck!

Feeling same nerves - would love CRT pre-party that Tuesday the 17th! That's going to be my first try!

Now I'm thinking instead of Tusker House on the 16th doing 'Ohana on the 17th for breakfast as we have never been there before.

Just checked for you and there is still BOG on that date, but I would do that first.
Mine was yesterday and shockingly, the harder ones to get were Epcot dinners at Biergarten. I could not get a Crystal palace at 6:00 on arrival day. It was either 3:30 or 8:30. I was shocked that BOG, Akershus and others were easy and ones that were usually easy were a bit more challenging. Good luck!

Thanks, I still have three days until I can make ADRs. I guess I'll be waking up early on Tuesday. I'm assuming the 6am times is Florida time, which will mean 5am my time.

Oh I had anxiety dreams and woke up at 5 am that morning! Make sure oyu are signed into my disney experience and access the ADRs from there. Also make sure you have a credit card on file beforehand. Is it possible to have two computers and two people doing it? My husband took his computer, I used my ipad and we each had a prioritized list. At 5:58 we started refreshing our pages and we got everything we wanted (BOG, CRT dinner, Cali grill) except garden grill! The hardest restaurants to get are the ones I mentioned and garden grill apparently. Go by what's had to get not the date. If I were oyu I would do it in this order...
1. BOG
2. Garden grill
3. Crystal palace (switch if the other is more important
4. Tusker

Also have alternatives ready to go in case they are full, then you can keep looking later and hope for an opening or use one of the reservation services

If your DH is coming or another relative on your reservation is coming and has an MDE account. Use two laptops or laptop and desktop computer, open yours on one and your other person on the other. Have BOG open and ready on one and you second most important (ohana or garden grill) open and ready on the other account and at 6am Go For It! It will ask you to check off all guests involved so it doesn't matter who is reserving as long as its someone in your group.
For example, I had my DH make an account and used his laptop and my own in bed. Made an alarm for 5:45am, woke up, turned on both logged in my account and then on his laptop his account (while he was showering for work, lol). I had mine set for BOG and his set up for CRT first. Then after I made those we did Crystal Palace on mine and Ohana on his. Then Chef Mickeys and 1900 Park Fare. We got everything although BOG was a bit early for dinner but thats okay. I had a printout for this with a list #1 #2 #3 reservations to do under my account with dates and preferred times and number of guests and the same to be done under his, so I didn't have to think too much that early in the morning.
Hope this helps.

I'me nervous too! My 180 is Monday. I'll be trying for a BOG dinner and lunch which I'm most nervous about. Plus t-Rex and Ohana. I feel like I might not be able to sleep the next two nights.

I don't have two computers, my mom is the one going with me and she is leaving everything to me. She isn't particular on the restaurants we eat at. I want BOG just so she can see the inside of the Beauty and the Beast castle but honestly I wasn't impressed with it when I went 1.5 years ago with my husband. I can't even get my phone and computer to work because my phone keeps telling me that my reservation is linked to another MDE account (I changed my last name since last time I used the account and this time that I've made the reservation, it seems to be screwing everything up)

A good alternative at Disney Hollywood would be The 50's Prime Time Café. It is a Home cooking style place with 50's home décor. The fried chicken is very good.

I have the same arrival date as you and I'm feeling those nerves too. Hoping for BOG dinner on the last full day of our trip, but since we are only there 6 nights I know others have a leap on us. Good luck to you!

MDE was not letting me do anything past the 180 and I was signed in. I did it all through site. So be signed in both places.

I had a 11/11-11/18 trip and could not get it for any night. Started with last night first. Kind of shocked.
