Getting more Fastpass+ after you use your original 3

I have a question about getting more Fastpass's after you use your original 3. We are going to Epcot on our arrival day, however we probably will not get to the park till after 2pm. I have chosen Soarin" for our Tier 1 fastpass, and selected Nemo and Spaceship Earth as the other 2, being that they are attractions that should theoretically have little wait on a Thursday in late September. So my question is, can I schedule Spaceship Earth and Nemo early in the day, knowing we will miss them, and then book Soarin' for our first ride when we get there? Or do I schedule Soarin for the first ride and then try and change the other 2 on the fly? After we ride Soarin' would I then be able to try and change my Nemo or Spaceship Earth to Test Track if its available? Or do you have to use all 3 before being able to book a Tier 1? Trying to figure out my best options, thanks!

All 3 FPs have to be used or expired before you can try for a 4 th FP. You can't change a 2nd or 3 RD FP for a tier one if you already have a tier one in your initial 3. And there's less than a .0000001% chance of getting a set of TT FPs in mid afternoon.

If you really want to ride TT on that day, either use single rider or try standby just before closing.

In our experience, we have never been able to get another TIER 1 FP+ as a 4th FP+ at EPCOT. This has been the case even when I have frontloaded and moved things up to try to get to the kiosk faster and been trying to get that 4th well before noon. We don't go at overly crowded times either. You do have to use all 3 before you can get another tier 1. But, while theoretically Nemo and Spaceship Earth should not have much of a wait- in the afternoons on our October trips on days that weren't that busy, we have sometimes found them to have 30 minute waits- so you might want to keep those FP+ just in case as the chances of picking up another Tier 1 aren't good anyway if you are not arriving at EPCOT until after 2 and still have to use your Soarin FP+ before you can pick up a 4th.
