I have no interest in a white dress and I found this by accident online. I can have the dress custom made by my specifications What do you think? Is this perfect for a vintage 'asian' style wedding or what??

Well shoot...I can't add a link. I haven't been active enough on the forum. haha. Anyway. It's from a company called Whirling Turban and the dress is the Shaheen Dream.

I am going to have it made in an asian coi print fabric with the shoulder sash and a matching fan. I'll do my hair in a traditional 1950's updo (no chop sticks) and wear amazing strappy heels. Now for bridesmaid...

Very cute! Your plans and themes sound really interesting, I hope you start a planning journal!

Here ya go! Very awesome dress!

lol! Not quite! I'll be wearing a '1950's aisian hairstyle) I borrowed from the movie Sayonara. It will be a Rita Haworth type of look with an asian inspired fascinator. I picked out my print. I can't believe my luck. My bridesmaids will be in solid yellow but I'm wearing THIS print.

The shoulder sash is spectacular! And I'll be having it made longer so that it almost drags the ground. :)

That's a great dress! Very chic, and perfect for the Japan pavillion.
