Getting Married aboard the Disney Wonder

Good morning everyone!

I just booked today my wedding! My boyfriend (well, fiancé now...eeek!) are getting married aboard the Disney Wonder. We already had a cruise booked and family was already going to be joining us. So, we decided to be crazy and book our wedding for this February. We called this morning and by the grace of Mickey, the wedding was available. Fiancée threw the credit card to me and before I knew it... our wedding was booked. We're currently awaiting our email from our wedding planner. I am so excited! I have watched this forum for years because I always wanted to get married on DCL. So here's my journey for everyone who wants to watch!

Also, and advice (for the cruise wedding or marriage in general) is MORE than welcomed and appreciated.

Congrats! We were married on the Wonder 4 years ago. Everything was taken care of for us and went very well. It was great to not have to worry about any of the details and just enjoy the day!

Congratulations! That's wonderful news! I can't recall who it is, but if you poke around the cruise meet and greet thread for the Nov. 10 sailing of the Wonder, there's someone in there who is getting married in a few days on board. She may be able to provide you with some information of what to expect.

I believe people normally go under the 'Disney Cruise Line Trip Reports' sub-forum and create a Trip Report that you can keep adding to. Many people go there to read the trip reports.

You need to have 10 posts in order to create a signature. Here's some information that should help you out.

There's another forum on this site "Disney Weddings and Honeymoons". There's a couple DCL Wedding Trip Reports in that site you might want to read! And start one of your own!

Once you have 10 posts, it does take the system a little while to recognize it (usually around 30-60 minutes). You can hover over your username in the upper right and click on "Signature" to set your signature (be sure to click "save changes" at bottom of that window when done. Same with the "Avatar" link. One thing, you need to use a photo hosting site to get the image into the avatar.
