Would greatly appreciate some helpful advice. We will be a very tired family travelling from Australia, 26hr in total with 3 kids:scared1:. Our flight lands in Orlando at 5am, so thinking by the time we get our bags etc will be about 5.30am to get to the Magical Express counter. I am a little worried because it will be so early on a Sunday morning that there will not be a lot of buses around? Also worried that it will take forever if we have to go to other resorts along the way. Any advice would be very welcomed, we can't wait to come back to your beautiful country:rotfl:

HI-

I can't really answer your specific questions, except to encourage you not to worry. DME will be available as they know you are coming, and as long as you can relax on a bus I would think the travel time would be OK. I would be more worried about my resort room. Have you talked with Disney to see how early a room will be ready? It sounds to me like everyone is going to be totally exhausted and ready for a nap! I would call Disney, explain the 26 hour travel situation :scared1:, and see if disney will guarantee an early check-in.

Good luck with your travels, and thanks for your kind comments about my country! Have a great vacation!!

Hi leebee,
Thanks for your reply! Yes I have called disney and had to pay for an extra nights accomodation for one of our rooms. I know we will all be soooooo tired after such a long flights so thought it was worth the extra money to do that. Can't wait to arrive, only 63days now!

Honestly, I've never used DME at 5:30 in the morning, but we always try to arrive at non peak times. Usually no line at the counter and just a handful of people trying to get to WDW property. The worst that happened to us was waiting about 5-10 minutes to get on a bus and then maybe another 10 before the bus actually left. The last 2 trips, our bus only had 12 people or so on each of them, so you won't have to wait forever for a bus to fill up. I'm guessing your trip might take a bit longer than the average, but I wouldn't worry :goodvibes
