Getting laundry done at Value Resorts

When I go to WDW for the first time next summer, we will more than likely stay at a value resort. We plan on staying two weeks, with rest days in between. We will be doing laundry on those days. Do the value resorts have a laundry service that will do your laundry for you, or is there a laundromat on grounds you go to and do it yourself?

There are laundry rooms near the pools.

Yes, laundry near the pools. I was at POP 2 years ago with my family and was able to put in the laundry while we swam. It didn't hurt that our room overlooked the computer pool and laundry building so I could keep tabs on it. I stayed at All Star Sports and don't recall seeing the laundry building but I don't doubt it was there. It's amazing what you miss when you aren't looking for it.

Check out this link to see if your resort has this http://classic.laundryview.com/disneyworld/ It tells you how many machines are available, how much time left on your cycle etc.

Another vote for swim while the laundry gets done. Also, buy one of those cheapie fold up laundry baskets from the dollar store so that it is easy to carry down. At AoA, they had a clock near the pool, so I just kept my eye on it and swapped out. Then, swam some more, filled up by mug, and took the laundry back to our room.

We also stay at the value resorts (have stayed at Pop and the All Stars) they have laundry facilities near the pool. We do what others have posted and throw a load in while we swim. This way we can keep tabs on it and do what we want to do at the same time.

I tend to do laundry at least every 3 days, and it is easy! At Pop it was convenient, and I brought our own laundry pods and dryer sheets. I like to use at least 2 or 3 dryer sheets to make our laundry smell fresh!

They take credit cards now too! Just no Amex.
