Getting kicked out while typing replies

After about every 20 characters typed in a reply, I keep getting kicked and have to click back into the reply to finish typing.

I thought was just me but just saw lovin'fl is having the same issue.

It acts like a mod for the site to get the screen to scramble and cause you to click on ads or links, so damn frustrating, and even worse when you lose what you typed. Someone said you could just refresh and it will come back, but I haven’t been able to do that.

I am surprised there aren’t 100’s of people complaining about this, it makes me think it is something about my phone or the skin I’m using (I’ve tried multiple), I have all but given up using the site on my phone… but of course, par for the course I was able to type up this entire thing with no issue. lol

That brings up a good point. Why is there no issues in the technical section!!??

Happening to me on desktop, it’s pretty brutal right now, basically useless to write anything because you have to reclick the message box every five seconds. Not happening on mobile at the moment, but I’ve had the weird scammy ad issue here.

Happened again, I know I keep saying I have to stop using the site on my phone, but it’s hard. lol

Not sure if I should start a new thread, but I think there is a new issue, possibly and most likely related… while typing a post/reply the keyboard will go away and make you click a link or an ad which takes you to whatever you clicked on. It doesn’t happen on any other site or when I’m texting, etc, so it is Disboard specific.
Very much seems like an “ad engagement booster” of some sort to get more “clicks” so I would say if there was some sort of ad related mod added recently that is what is causing the issue.

If not using Google, maybe switching is worth looking into?

yeah this site has become garbage to use. i will now use ad blocker and screw them on their revenue because this is beyond annoying

Yea weird, I never have issues on my PC, only chrome on my phone, but using chrome on iPhone.
Are you both on a PC? (not cell or Apple product)

This message board has become more of a pain to use than a joy. No wonder there are so few new threads and not as many people participating as there were a few years ago. I just typed a long message and I was not able to hit post reply yet and the freakin' thing kicked me to some ad and lost my post. There are other places to talk about Disney...guess I better find one until this is fixed!!
