Getting from Poly longhouse to TTC...

We stayed many summers at CR and the Poly and requested a room with a view of the monorail - never tired of seeing it glide by as it added to the magic for us ;)

Never-the-less our favorite longhouse is Tokleau because it is very centrally located, 1st fl has a patio and both 2nd and 3rd have a balcony :)

It is a 5 min walk to TTC in one direction and the same to GCH in the other :)

Which 'view' do you prefer here? I have stayed at the Aotearoa once and we had the monorail going by the window. It was nice and never bothered us. But I think for next time I want to be in eitherthe Tolkeau or the Tahiti. So, what are those views like? Thank you.

You can take the monorail from the GCH at the Poly to the TTC to get to Epcot (switch monorails at the TTC) or a direct one to MK. You do not have to walk. Some people like to because you can go direct from the TTC. The time difference for switching is approx 1 - 5 minutes.

However, that doesn't take into account the time waiting for a monorail at the GCH and making the circuit with stops at the GF, MK and CR before getting to the TTC for the switch. That total is easily 20-30 minutes depending on the length of the stops.

Tokelau faces either the quiet pool and lovely landscaping or a huge and peaceful courtyard that is simply gorgeous. The gardenview rooms in Tahiti face that same large courtyard. The other side of Tahiti has lagoon and MK view rooms.

We've had a few locations in Tokelau, all wonderful! There are a few rooms (do not know which numbers) that have quite a lot of very full, tall foliage ~ we do try to avoid those rooms when possible.

As BCV23 wrote, the quiet pool side is lovely and the paths to the GCH can be seen, which is pretty. The other side is true garden views, with a few at the lagoon end that have views of the end of the lagoon, but still a GV catagory.

Hope this helps! :)
