Getting from POFQ to GF for Pirate Cruise

1st of all, thank you for all the wonderful things I have read on this website. I am somewhat addicted to reading your posts.
We are going to Disney (1st trip) from May 26th - June 2nd, staying at POFQ. On the last day, I am booking the pirate cruise for my children as we won't be going to the parks that day. How do we get from POFQ to GF by 9:15am for the cruise. HELP.

well, to get to the contemporary we took the bus to MK and walked, BUT, I am not sure if you can walk to the Grand Floridian - you can definitely get the monorail from MK though, but I can't quite remember which monorail goes in which direction, I think you may have to make the full loop to get to the GF( using the resort monorail)

Take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then the boat or monorail to the GF. HTH

As the others have said take the bus to the MK then take the boat or the monorail to the GF. Plan for enough time to make the monorail loop or to wait for the boat.

You also need to check in about 15 minutes prior to the cruise. We arrived early, so that DS could have a bathroom break and a drink before casting off.

If you've not done the cruise before, don't forget your camera/camcorder. The pictures are priceless. You'll definitely see the "magic" in their eyes when they return.

Bus to Magic Kingdom and then the Monoral to GF. We did this a few years back and it worked out fine. Have a great time.

Just a reminder we learned the hard way on our first visit - GF has the boat dock AND a marina dock. You want the one along the marina where water mice can be rented.

Our littlest guy is going on his first pirate cruise this spring, too! His brothers have done it twice and had so much fun. I know your children will, too.
