What would you recommend as the best way to get to GF at 11am from PO-FQ using the WDW transportation?

We have a late breakfast at 1900 PF @ 11am, and then heading into MK for the rest of the day (late night EMH). We're staying at PO-FQ.

I'm thinking that we should take a bus to EPCOT, then head over to the monorail??? Does that sound like a good plan? Isn't the walk from the buses to the monorails closer at Epcot than at MK?

TIA!

The problem with your plan is that it then requires a change from the Epcot monorail to the MK resort monorail at the TTC. The walk from the bus stops to the monorail may be a little shorter at Epcot, but you add a walk at the TTC and the extra time to change monorails.

I would go by bus from POFQ to the MK, then take the monorail or the boat to the GF. The boat dock actually is closer to the bus depot than the monorail station, and GF is the first stop for the boat after it leaves the MK. The GF is the last stop on the resort monorail after leaving the MK.

Coming back to the MK from the GF, take the monorail.

Taking the bus to MK and then the monorail or the ferry (even better) to GF would be much easier and faster.

Not the ferry, FWIW, but a motor launch (I think I just said boat). If you take the "ferry" you will wind up at the TTC with a long walk (or a relatively short monorail ride) to the GF. The motor launch will go directly from the MK to the GF.

Thanks.

It's been too many years since I used the monorails. I forgot it's not a straight shoot from Epcot.

Thanks. You saved me lots of time!!!
