DS 11 and I are booked into ASSP Sept. 27 to Oct. 4 to take advantage of free DDP. I have never stayed on site without my husband's driving skills before. Even though I know a bit about how WDW transportation system works, I think I need help on this one. We are hoping to do some EE and then go back to the room for rests or move to another park. We will be dining at other resorts as well. I'm afraid it will seem like we are spending our vacation riding buses I used to have a link to a website that allowed you to plug in your start point and destination and it would give you choices of transport. Does any one have this?

That wizard is on ourlaughingplace.com, but it is badly out of date, and is quite erroneous in some instances. I would not depend on it. It's a shame it's not updated, because something like that could be truly useful if up to date.

Just keep in mind these little "rules" of WDW travel:

- There are buses, boats, monorails, and even walking paths that go from park to park. There are thousands of permutations of how you get from one place to another, so if you have a specific question about how to get from one park to another park, ask on here. People will answer you.

- There are no resort to resort buses. Generally, you need to go to a park, then hop on a bus to go the destination resort at that park. There are many exceptions to this rule, but it requires knowing which resorts you'll stop at en route to a park to make use of them.

- The EPCOT area resorts, all within walking distance, or a boat ride, away from each other are: Swan/Dolphin, BC/YC, and BWI.

- MK monorail resorts are: CR, Poly and GF. WL is a boat ride away from MK or a short bus ride.

- All other resorts will require a bus or car to get to from any of the parks.

Hope this helps.
