Getting from MCO to Disney

I hear if you arent on the ressie, you cannot use the ME. I'm meeting up with my family in Disney but they are arriving a day earlier than I am and they are all using ME. What would be the cheapest thing for me to do. I heard someone say they rented a car for 97$ for the entire week? Is that a good price or could I find something better? I leave less than three weeks!

Is there a reason your name is not on the room reservation? I mean, are you a "stow away" or are you official but just arriving the next day. If you're "official," you should call WDTC/DME and figure out how to get your free ride that you're entitled to. If you're just sneaking in, however, I think the regular Mears service would be your cheapest option, if you don't mind sharing a ride and paying for it.
