What's the most efficient way to get from GF to Wilderness Lodge?

I am thinking walk to MK then hop the boat to WL? There is nothing direct right?

Correct, no direct way.

Walk, monorail, or resort boat from GF to MK (Gold Flag launch) (walking or monorail will be easiest/quickest, the boat goes to Poly first then to MK so you’re backtracking/spending extra time than needed).

Then take the separate resort boat from MK to WL (the Red Flag launch). A bus from MK to WL is also available as an alternative option.

Have fun!

I feel like boat-to-boat would be most efficient. I'm not sure if the Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge boats leave from the same dock, but I think they do, which means it should be a short transfer. The monorail-to-boat might be a little quicker depending on the location of your room (walk to dock versus walk to monorail) and the timeliness of arrival.

New DVC building, aka Big Pine Key. We want to head over to the lake front bar/restaurant one night for dinner/drinks.

We are planning on doing the same for our upcoming trip! We can drive, but we’ll probably just walk over to MK and then take the boat. We’ve gone this way before and just head back to MK and go into the park for awhile after. Have fun!

Great choice. Geyser Point has really good food and a relaxing atmosphere because it's open-air.

Not a good choice on a rainy evening, obviously, but otherwise terrific.

Would you also recommend this for Bay Lake Tower to Wilderness Lodge for our dinner reservation? Thanks!

Yes, walk to MK and take the boat to WL. Unfortunately the Blue Flag launch (resort boat) that used to go between CR-WL-FW has yet to return, otherwise that used to be the best route.

You could monorail around to MK from CR but that’ll be longer than walking and out of the way (unless you’re trying to avoid weather, steps, or heat).
