Getting from Boardwalk to POP?

What's the best way to get from the Boardwalk to POP? We will not have park hoppers to be able to walk thru Epcot and catch a bus.

I'm thinking of two ways...

1.) Bus to DTD, Bus to POP

or

2.) Boat to DHS, Bus to POP

If it makes a difference, this will be later in the evening. We will be traveling in late September and I believe that DHS closes at 7pm or 8pm. If that is the case, how late would the boats and buses to/from DHS run after that park closes?

Is there a better way that I'm not thinking of, other than to take a cab? By car I know this is like a 5 minute drive probably. So if we took a cab, any guesses on the cost? Is it worth the cab $ vs. the time it takes by bus and/or boat?

I'd go with boat or walking to DHS, then taking the bus to POP. Using DTD as a transfer point is not very efficient and really should be done only when the parks are closed and can't be used to transfer.

We took a cab from YC back to POP a year ago...it was less than $10..maybe just that with tip.
It should be about the same from BW. They are very close to each other....if DHS is still open, then by all means, walk or take the boat there and then hop on a bus to POP. But I wouldn't head to DTD..way too much time involved....wait for the DTD bus to get to BW, then drive there, then off and wait for the POP bus to come, and then the drive back to POP. It could take you over an hour to get to a resort that you were only about a 5 min ride away from.
