Getting from BCV to Swan?

I have purchased a tour to the Kennedy Space Center for our upcoming trip to Orlando. We are staying at BCV. They have a pick up at The Swan & Dolphin. They are asking me if I want them to charge me $20 to get picked up at BCV.

Is this worth it? Or will it be just as easy to ride the Disney bus over to Swan? I think pick up is at 8am.

You can walk to the Swan from the BCV. I think it would take you 5-10 minutes to walk there.

You can very easily walk from BCV to the Swan. It is probably, at most, a 15 minute walk. There is a walkway. When you leave BCV from the back, near the lake, head to the right. You will pass the Beach Club and the Yacht Club. You need to follow along the lake, keeping the water on your left. After the marina you go over a small bridge and the Swan and Dolphin hotels are right there.

Oh my gosh! I'm glad I posted before I spent the $20 for the "special" pick up! Why don't they just say....hey you can walk to the stop from there?!

Sounds like a great idea. If it isn't too personal......What is the total travel time to Kennedy? Does the bus cost anything? How much and long is the tour? Or could you point me in the right direction aka link?

I usually stay at the Swan and almost always walk to Epcot. You are no more than 10 minutes from the Swan.
