Getting from AKL to CRT on time

We have a PS for CRT at 8:10 a.m. I have several questions on what is the best way to get there, especially since it is prior to the park opening and it is NOT an EMH day for MK:

1. We're staying at the AKL. What time does the earliest bus run to MK? I though I read that the earlist bus runs 1 hour before the park opens and since it is not an EMH day the MK opens at 9:00.

2. Does the bus drop you off at the TTC or right by the MK entrance (bypassing the ferry/monorail)?

3. Would you drive or take the bus or drive your car?

I'll help "Bump" this because I'm trying to figure out something similar.

We have PS for Chef Mickeys at 7:50am and are staying at AKL also. If buses are running, we were going to take the bus to MK and then hope on the monorail over to Contemporary. If buses aren't running, we have to figure out something else.

For a cost of approx $10 you can get a cab from AKL to DTD or any other location, no schedules, no reservation, no hassles just easy fast friendly transportation at your whim.

I just asked this question last week and if I can find the thread I will post it. There are buses that run early for character meals. We had a 8am ps on a non-EE day and we were there in plenty of time. The buses still run to get guests to ps early.

We will be doing the same this year with CRT at 8:05


I would like Chip n' Dale Express to confirm also though

3. My tip is to NEVER drive to the MK if there is any other option. Since you have to park at the TTC, take a monorail or boat to the MK, the bus is quicker.
