We are going at the end of September and plan on spending a Saturday AM at AK to see a few things and then head to MGM for the rest of our day. We have 2:15 seating for Hollywood and Vine. What time should we plan to leaving AK to go (using Disney Trans) to MGM and make it in plenty of time to get to our restaurant?

Please keep in mind that we will be towing a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a 6 month old with us!! Tends to slow us down a bit...we are those 'annoying people' who dare to bring our children to WDW *gasp* and to add insult to injury we use STROLLERS...and the most dastardly deed...I"m physically handicapped and tend to walk slowly... Hopefully we won't run into too many people who are offended by us :sunny:

Thanks!!
Carol

I have no experience with the kids, but as a solo traveler, for a 2:15 resv, I would be at the AK bus stop no later than 12:30(this is if there is a bus just getting there. You would rather be a bit early, and stroll around than have to rush, especially with the young ones. I am trying to visualize in my head, but I would say if wouldn't be any more than a 20 min trip, though I am thinking maybe more like 10 to 15. Remember if the bus is just leaving before you get to the AK stop, you may have a 10 - 20 min wait, poss even longer. One good thing, usually around that time, there isn't alot of people waiting for the bus, least all the times I have caught the bus at AK around between noon and 1pm.

I would leave by 12:30, just to avoid a rush and so that you can get your bearings when you get to MGM. There are some fun shops to check out to kill time if you need to. Plus, they like you to check in 10 minutes before your listed time. I have often checked in 30 minutes early and have been taken right away, especially at an in-between time like 2:15.

First let me say that you are brave to even attempt this while towing everybody.

I'd suggest that you allow yourself an hour for it all, perhaps a little more just to be sure.

About 12:30 was about what we were thinking as well, we are totally newbies at this and can't wait! Time cannot go fast enough!

Thanks for the help!
Carol
