Getting FP+ with CM Guest Passes

Hi, My daughter is a CP and we are planning a trip in June to see her. We will be staying at a Disney resort. At the beginning of FP+ and the Magic Bands cms were not able to link their main entrance passes or the associated guest passes to their MDE and get advance FP+, but had to wait until the day of and do it at the park. Now my daughter has been able to link her main entrance pass to her MDE and make advance FP+. She can even get them 60 days ahead when we have a Disney resort stay. We have never used the guest passes since we have APs, but we are bringing friends this trip and will be using them. She can not see a way to link those or get FP+ ahead of time with them. Do any of you know any way to do this, or do we just have to wait until we arrive at the parks in the morning and hope we can get some? Thank you.

Assuming she linked her MEP correctly, the guest passes should have automatically linked to her account when she linked the MPE. If she is listed on your resort reservation, she will be able to make FP selections 60 days in advance. However, the guest passes, since they are not tied to one particular person, can only make FP selections 7 days in advance.

Thank you so much for your reply. Do you know how she can make the Guest pass FP+ seven days in advance? Can she associate them with a name at that time? It seems like 7 days in advance would still be much better that waiting until the day we arrive at a park.

I have two seasonal passes on my account from before I worked at disney and i'm able to make my guest passes FP+ 30 days out because I still have my seasonal passes that me + my boyfriend use + bringing 3 people on my guest passes. (I'm a normal cast member not a cp)

She cannot associate the guest passes with a name. Instead, she would make FP selections for "Guest Pass 1", "Guest Pass 2", etc ...

If she signs into her MyDisneyExperience account, she should see the guest passes listed on the "MagicBands and Cards" page. If she doesn't see them there, then they are not properly linked.

Keep in mind, if there are any blockout dates during your trip, she won't be able to make FP+ selections for the guest passes at the park/day that is blocked out.

This. Most of June is blocked out for MK and the other parks have some time blocked as well. Check this with your dates, just don't want you to arrive and be surprised her passes don't work. https://blockoutdates.disney.com/parks-florida/#Magic-Kingdom

Thanks for all your help! I called my CP daughter and gave her the instructions over the phone and she was able to make FP+ reservations for the two guests that matched the ones I had already made. She said, "How did you know how to do this?" I told her the Disboards. She was pretty amazed and impressed. We were able to do this at about 48 days before the trip, so I'm sure we could have done it at 60 with the resort stay if we had known how to do it. And yes, I know about the black out dates from another thread on this college board, so she bought one day mk tickets for them at Company D and already booked the FP+ for that day as soon as the tickets were purchased and linked. Thanks again!

Hey, this is great information! We're visiting my CP daughter in August. There are actually 4 of us going, so one of us has to buy a ticket while the other three are on her guest passes.

So if I add my son to our reservation...he could make fast passes with his brother and sister who have annual passes, but since we are using his guest passes then we would have to wait until 7 days out...is this correct? Or can he link those to us?

If a CM is listed on a resort reservation, the CM can make FP at the 60 day mark, but since guest passes are not linked to a particular person (and thus, can't be part of a resort reservation), then the FPs for the Guest Passes could only be made 7 days out.
