Is it possible to get FP in the park? We are going with our girl scout troop this week and doing a backstage tour in the morning. Our leader has not signed anyone up for Fastpasses and I fear that we are going to be standing in 1-2 hour long lines. Is it possible to sign up for fastpasses after we get into the park? Or are spontaneous fastpasses a thing of the past now? This whole new FP policy/magic band technology is confusing.

It's absolutely possible. Just keep in mind that a lot of the headlining attractions may have limited to no availability but you'll certainly be able to book FP+.

Is there a reason the leader has not shared the ticket numbers with each person so they can schedule FP+?

I work for a travel company that organizes trips for high school bands and choirs. Once we receive the ticket numbers from the agency we buy them from, we assign them to each person on the trip, and email the list to the group so they can link their passes to their MDE accounts.

I just got back yesterday from my most recent trip, with a group of 75, and this system worked out well.
