Getting DVC membership to show up in Disneyland App or on website?

Hi all! We are DVC members and have been for about 10 years. I'm attempting to link my DVC account to my Disneyland profile for an upcoming trip. Each time it says my username or password isn't a valid DVC account- even though I'm logged into it with the same login and password (as is the same across all Disney accounts.)

I emailed Member Services who first told me you cannot link a DVC reservation to your Disneyland app (not true and not what I was asking.) Then Chat told me to clear all my cookies and site data for Disney and start over, which didn't help. Today I called Member Services tech support- who told me "It's there, you just can't see it, so when you mobile order, you'll get the discount anyway, don't worry."

Can anyone confirm this is true? I tried searching but couldn't find the exact situation.

It’s just one more “known” issue that doesn’t seem to be too high on anyone’s priority list. You cannot add your DVC membership to the DL app. Everyone gets that same error message. I called again last month and got the same “we know about it and hopefully it will get worked out soon” answer.
For many though (including me), even though you can’t add or see your DVC member ship on the DL app, when you go to do a mobile order, the discount does show up. I’ve done it with and without a park reservation.

You can try it yourself. Just do a mobile order somewhere that’s open and accepting orders. Run through until the end but before you hit pay, you should see the applied discount.
