Getting Creative when ordering Magic Bands

Unfortunately, my wife and I don't have the problem many of you do: more Magic Bands than we know what to do with. This is our third trip together and second with Magic Bands. This time we made sure to order different colors, but we also got creative with our names! What creative ideas have you all come up with lately?

Also, I am happy to seat a better selection of Magic Bands and accessories on the Shop Disney Parks app.

I use our name and year to have as a keepsake. I was thinking of doing funky names or something outrageous but I think they see your name on a screen so I might embarrass myself!

Well my original order had our real names on it. But the second resort for a split stay did not. When I worked at Wendy's years ago I use to use a nametag that said Sven. So I was Sven and my Dad was Olaf. For the next trip I have a pink one that says Beastly. According to the Cm that gave me the Sven and Olaf ones, it is very common for guests to not put their real names.

DH's magic bands all have the same name (his real name), but since DH and I each got three magic bands for this trip (AP bands and two from a split stay), I had fun with some of the names. My blue one says Alice and my yellow one says Rapunzel. I think the pink one I got has my name. I don't plan on using them since I have the HM magic band, but I had fun with the names.

They only see your real name as listed in MDE, not whatever you put on the band. The name on the band is for your identification purposes only.

The set of bands we got for SWW all have Star Wars characters' names on them. We also have a set with Harry Potter names on them, though wearing those just feels wrong!

The only time a cast member in the park would see what you put on your magic band would be if you took it off and handed it to them.

I thought they saw it because one said my name, and it wasn't the name in my MDE account, it was the one on my band. That's what made me think they could see it.

As far as I know it is in the name on your band. Reasons for this are; I was repeatedly called Sven when wearing my Sven band and my Dad doesn't have a MDE account, everything was through me, and his said his name or Olaf on the screen.

My family has 9 Magic Bands each with all sorts of different things written inside them. The only names which ever show up on the FP+ screens at the return checkpoints are our real names as entered on our MDE account.

Ours say "Bacon" and "Sausage". It's an inside joke between my BF and I. He doesn't know yet but will see them this week when they arrive.

Whenever I've looked at the screens that the CM's see for FP entrance it's always been showing our real names, not whatever we've used to identify our MB's.
