Hi:wave2: It seems that this year we will be joined on our yearly summer trip to the Fort by my family. We will be driving our RV and they will be renting from someone that sets it up there . We know the loop we like and which site. How do I go about requesting that we all be next to each other or at the least in the same loop? We will need three sites in total and it will be a full hook up site.

I. Can't. Wait!!!

Thanks so much!!

You need to call the Fort Wilderness Campground with your reservation number, and tell them you want them "linked" with each other. Provide the name/address, contact Number, of the party you are traveling with, and make sure you clarify that you are two families traveling together. We returned from the Fort two weeks ago, and were linked with our daughter, SNL, and kids, and we had sites next to each other. The same happened in October, when we went with our son, DNL, and their kids. . They may also have to do the same thing, ie, with your reservation number. Have a great and magical trip.

We were at the Fort with friends a couple years ago in the same situation. The CM we spoke to when making our reservation suggested we link our reservations as a grand gathering. We did so by providing each other with our res# and then asking to have our ressies linked. In the end, it all worked out. We arrived at reception, checked in, the grand gathering link identified us as traveling together and we were given sites next to each other. It worked very well.
