is it a long walk from Boatwrights to Sassagoula Floatworks? I am planning a breakfast at Boatwright's and was thinking about grabbing some beignets before we had back to the Beach Club (for a snack later...nothing better than fried dough covered in powdered sugar!!).

it's a 10-15 min. walk cuz Boatrights is at Riverside, and the Sass is at French Quarter.

And, an FYI, beignets really, really don't keep very well...delish when fresh, but they deflate & get tough as they sit. (We tried "planning" ahead when we stay at POFQ in May...learned the hard way that beignets don't keep.)

Thanks. Yeah, I was worried about them keeping...may just have to force myself to eat them before we head back. Maybe we will take a little walk around the resort to work off breakfast a little bit :)

Absolutely correct. If you aren't going to eat your beignets right away, don't bother.
