Getting between parks and DTD

Please move this if it is in the wrong forum.
I'm trying to remember and cannot be sure at all-darn old age.
How can I can from one park to another and/or Downtown Disney. I know Epcot to MGM is no problem-the boats.

But here's where I need to go (daily) during my stay:
AK to MGM
MGM to DTD
I'm staying at OKW, if that's a help.
If I need to stop at a resort to get another bus, please offer suggestions which resort is closest/ we can walk from. DH, DS and I have no problem walking,but stepson drags his feet.

There are busses between AK and MGM -- between all four theme parks. There aren't busses, however, between the theme parks and DTD.

The only way to get from MGM to DTD besides a taxi, is to take a bus back to OKW and then the bus from OKW to DTD... I am not sure if OKW has a boat to DTD.

Yes, there is a boat from OKW to DTD. There is also a walking path from OKW to DTD.

You can actually take a bus to any resort and then get their bus to DTD, if the OKW bus is leaving as you arrive choose any other resort (it would be better if it was in the DTD area) and then hop on that. When you arrive at the resort hop on the bus to DTD.
