Way back in beta, I also purchased a box of "Cinnamon Krunchers" (horrid stuff), which had the Cursed Storm code, but got caught in the code mix-up too. I got fed up back in October or so, and sent them a message that I was affected by the code mix-up. Early this month, I got an email that they had placed it in my inventory. Woohoo...

I sent a message back when they changed the code posted on the fansite thread to get it changed and posted a thread here also....still no cursed storm

I have resigned myself to the fact that I will never have cursed storm.

Hmm - I sent three notes to my friend VMK_Bear - he got the hint after the third one (that note had a tad bit of tude to it too) - my cursed storm was fixed.

Recently, VMK commited the huge mistake of releasing bugged versions of Yeti Vision game, therefore, they are blaming everyone who got wrong codes and pointing them, considering them "hackers". And well, they banned me thinking I hacked into their system, and I know someone on this site (mod), who got to speak with me yesterday for a very long time and finally understood how I was getting them without breaking the VMK Values.
But VMK considered me a "hacker" which made me really upset and leaded me to something else...

This is vmk at its worse and I agree with VirtuallyMe. They should just take the item away and not ban people! I fear a "not-so-good" future with vmk.

One thing that concerns me a lot about this is the Yeti game isn't specific about what your prize is going to be. It just says something generic like, "Click here to get your VMK loot." I can't remember if the web page with the code says it is for a pin or not but then again, I didn't think to look. All I cared about was the code. So, if I had received something other than a pin, I wouldn't have known anything was wrong and most likely would have boasted about my great prize.

That said, I don't condone tinkering with the URLs to try to get better prizes. If that is what happened, then I believe it is against VMK rules and any tinkerers should be banned.

I'm not trying to start any fights or anything so if this post does please go ahead and delete it, but I seem to remember getting pink doors from people in the maze game when I should have been getting purple. Does this mean that me and these people that gave me the pink doors are going to get banned because it sounds like the same thing to me from what I have been hearing?? Hacking yes would be 1 thing, but to get them by accident and keep playing to get for friends in my eyes would go back to what was going on with the doors. Guess that gets my 2 cents out now. OK... I feel better now.
