Getting back to POP from HDDR?

MVMCP will be going on the same night we'll be at HDDR. I was thinking we would take the boat to MK, then find a bus going back to POP. Is there an easier way? I don't want to spend the money on a taxi.

They usually have many buses at the FW bus stop after the HDDR that will take you back to your resort. Your boat/bus option will work, too, but I'd check for a direct bus first.

What time is your ADR at HDDR? We went twice in Sept, Sept 11, 7:15 show and Sept 25, 9:30 show. There were busses there to take you back to your hotel, it was wonderful. We also thought that we would have to take a boat back to MK to get our resort bus but they had them waiting. Sept 04 we went to the earlier show and took the boat back to MK but then again we were staying at Poly. Having the busses at HDDR saved us about 30-45 mins of traveling to MK, waiting for a bus there plus who knows how long the line would have been. Loved that.

This is generally true. There usually are busses for the later two HDDR shows because the MK is normally closed. Since MVMCP will still be going on, you MAY have to take the baot bakc to MK to catch the bus there.

But as campingcorgi said, check for a direct bus first.

Who would I check with about the buses? I'm trying to remember...don't I pass the bus stop on the way to the dock? I guess I could check there, and if I don't see resort buses, I'll just head over to the dock to MK. I'm guessing it would take over an hour to get back to POP if I had to take the boat back to MK. And of course, they're predicting rain that night.

When we get back, I'll post if there were resort buses on the MVMCP night (my HDDR show is for 7:15pm).

As you leave Pioneer Hall, you would need to go left to the bus stops. The boat dock is to your right.
