I am attending the Disney Christmas parade and wanted to go by the Grand Floridian to see it.

Question is can I park at Downtown Disney then ride boat to Magic Kingdom then ride monorail to Grand Floridian?

or would i be better riding boat back to Downtown Disney and driving to Grand Floridian?

will not be staying on sight but will have car

thanks

There are no boats from Downtown Disney to Magic Kingdom, but there are buses from Downtown Disney to Grand Floridian

Steve,

Just to clarify, Downtown Disney and the Magic Kingdom are several miles apart. There is no direct transportation between them. You CAN park at DTD and take a bus to the GF, then from there the boat or monorail to MK. But that's a lot of hassle IMO.

I think you are best served parking at MK's lot -- there is a parking fee.
WillCAD has a great assortment of Disney maps on his website. I pulled a link for this one for you.

If you look in the upper left corner of the map, you'll see the MK area. Notice the parking lot is across the lagoon from the MK. From the lot (walking or use the tram) you actually are brought to the Ticket and Transportation Center, where you can catch the ferry or the monorail to MK.

For what you want to do, take the "resort monorail" which stops at the Polynesian and the GF before it stops at the MK.

Once you leave the MK, take the ferry or monorail back across to the TTC and head back to the parking area.
