Hello!

We are in need of transportation from
the MCO airport, to WDW All Star Sports,
then around WDW (we plan to hit Epcot
and MK), then to the Disney Cruise Line
in Port Canaveral then back to MCO...

We don't want to use Mears/Disney transport!
We have clearly ruled that out! And since we
don't know the area at all, we don't want to
rent a car either!

Which services have you used, which
is good/bad? Limo, town car, taxi???

And how does WDW transportation work?
I heard they pick up at our hotel, then
take us to a main transportation hub then
we have to board a different bus there...
is this all correct?

Does WDW transportation run like an
hour before park opening and an hour after?

Please let me know if there is anything
else I should know!

Thanks a million everyone!:wave2:

I would consider renting a car. The area is really not that hard to get to know( person can direct while the other drives) and you might get a really good rate. I love the flexabiltity of renting a car.

Same here. With that kind of agenda a rental car is going to save a lot of money. If your cruise is 3 or 4 days, just park it at the terminal. You may or may not save money with two separate rentals, but it's a hassle.

WDW transportation from All-Star Sports to all of the theme parks and Downtown Disney is a direct bus. No transfer is required, and it is generally more convenient than driving yourself (particularly to the Magic Kingdom).

That "transportation hub" is the Transportation & Ticket Center, located at the MK parking lot. The only way you will likely have occasion to use it is when traveling from the Magic Kingdom to/from one of the other theme parks. From your resort (Sports) you always have a bus straight to the parks. You only need to change buses when going from one WDW resort to another WDW resort, such as from All-Star Sports to Old Key West. Even then, you change at a thme park or Downtown Disney, not the Transportation & Ticket Center.

And yes, it will be available before and after park opening.

Have a Great Trip!
