Getting around Orlando by bus

Hi all

We are visiting Orlando in November, and staying at the Days Inn Lakeside on Sand Lake Road (just next to Turkey Lake Road).

We are not hiring a car, and will travel by bus for the majority of the time.

We would like to know what the Lynx bus service is like, as we wish to visit Universal on several days and we've heard the I-RIDE doesn't go to the Universal main entrance. We would also like to visit Winter Park, getting a bus to Orlando Downtown Bus Station and another onto Winter Park.

Could anyone advise which buses we would need to catch and from where, as we're having problems understanding the schedules/maps on the Lynx website!
