Thought I would ask this seperately as I feel its a little different to my other post.

Just us two adults on the trip.

I'm plaaning on being at one park during the day and then going to dinner at one of the resorts.

Is this going to get difficult or is it fairly easy to get around.

Most bookings are for 6-7pm except the shows which are at 5.15pm.

Have a car but want to drive as little as poss.

What do u think is best for an easy life?

if you are leaving directly from the park to the resort for dinner, then just take that resort's bus to dinner. afterwards, to return to your resort, either go to a park that is open or to downtown disney and pickup your resort bus. then there is always a taxi which is what i would recommend to get to victoria and albert's since you all will probably be attired in "dress clothes."

Are you planning on driving to your park of choice? are you staying at a WDW resort or are you offsite? Consider park closing times into your equation if you are staying offsite or if you are driving to the parks. You will have a hard time getting back to your car at the parks if the park is closed after your dinner ressie.

Thanx for the help, please say more....

We do have a car and are staying at POR. Ideally we plan on being up early and either use oyr car or take the bus-only if service is good.

Still worried/unsure as to whether we'll be at one park all day or come back for a nap etc.

What would you do given my ressie times (on the other post)?

If parks are open after our meal and fireworks are due, then we'd ideally see them. But, what happens if the park closes and our car is in the car park ?

Since you have a car and can park for free since you are staying on WDW property I would just drive. It is the quickest way around. Lots of people like to take Disney transportation but long bus rides with kids in tow is not my idea of fun. The worst part would be the resort to resort transportation in the evening. For example getting from the Poly to POR would involve taking a bus from the Poly all the way to DTD and then hopping a bus to POR. Frankly this is just going way out of your way for no reason.

If you go from a resort to downtown you can take the boat back to POR. I'm with you I don't want to use my car if I can help it. It may take a little longer with Disney Transporation but I prefer to sit and look at the scenery I'm on vacation not in a race.

We prefer to drive to resort dinners. The exception might be monorail resorts or FW or WL if you'll be going to the MK and staying until dinner. Then it is fun to use the monorail or boats to go to dinner and not hard to get back to the TTC afterwards.... to pick up your car!

:D

Thanks for the advice to everyone.

I think I'll just take a day or so to get my gearings and we'll soon know if travel should be easier by car or bus depending on the day.

Does that sound like a first timer talking. I bet.

Cheers
