Getting around Disney getting worried.........

I am getting concerned about navigating our way around Disney World. For instance if we are at MK and have adr's at WCC and decide to take a boat over, are there signs to the boat, is it right outside MK or do we have to go back to the TTC? When the bus from POP takes us to MK does it drop us at the TTC or take us right to MK's entrance? What about the other parks, are we dropped off close to the entrance? Are the bus stops for each resort clearly marked at each park? Are we going to get lost, on the wrong bus ect.? Do they give you guides or maps at your resort as to where you can find the transportation you need? I think I am worrying more than I should about this but can't help it! :rolleyes2

Relax you will get info on check in. I enjoy the transportation at Disney. With adr's leave about 3/4 hour before. Have a great trip.

Pick up a transportation map/guide when you check in. And always, ask, ask, ask. There are cast members everywhere.

The boat docks are right outside MK, you can not miss them Just look for the right one going where you want, and again, ask.

Buses from resorts to MK go right to the park. And that is true of all the resorts/parks. They are clearly marked, and again, if any confusion, ask.

It's a lot (sounds like your first trip :cool1: :thumbsup2) to take in, but once you are there, it will all fall in place. You'll see. :goodvibes And remember, make those memories. :cloud9:

And welcome to the DIS. :disrocks:

The bus stops are very clearly marked. There are CM's around you can ask. And the drivers of both the boats and busses are *great* about answering questions. You aren't going to get lost.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with the official transportation guide. It makes things seem more complicated than they are, and sends you to DTD to transfer, when it's almost always easier to transfer at a park.

Thanks for helping to put my mind at ease. We have only been to MK before and this is our first trip staying on-site, we will be there for 8 nights and are very excited! :Pinkbounc

I don't think I have ever really followed or read the transportation guide. The bus stops are all marked fairly well as to where to go to get the bus you want.

When you are at your resort you will see the sign for what park you want ot go to. On the way to the park the bus driver will tell you what bus stop number is the one you have to go to to get back to your resort, and they are all maked on the outside and the inside of the bus houses. Like they said relax and enjoy.

Disney makes it very easy. Busses drop you off at the entrance to magic kingdom and the boats are all very clearly marked. Everyone is always very helpful if you have a question. Like someone else mentioned ASK ASK ASK !!

Don't go to the TTC to get back to your resort. There aren't any resort bus stops there. If you are at the MK and you want to go to another park (not a resort) you can do that by taking the boat or monorail to the TTC. Note this does NOT work to get to Downtown Disney. There's no direct transportation to Downtown Disney from any theme park, only from the resorts.

You won't need maps--even to drive around disney. There are tons of signs everywhere. There are also info booths, security and transportation drivers/pilots all over the place. Getting to WL by boat couldn't be easier. Go out of MK and walk straight ahead, and you'll end up on the cruiser dock for WL/FW. The boats with the green flags on the front will take you to wl and since you'll be going after 3pm, WL will be your first stop.
