Hello All! From the other posts I’ve read this seems to be THE reservation at Disney right now. I’ve got a trip coming up soon and will be making my 60+ day ADRs ASAP. So here’s my question… has anyone secured a reservation going through the actual lounge page vs. the “make a reservation“ page on the website? I’ve never seen a lounge ADR pop up before so I was trying to think somewhat out of the box to luck into one. Any advice/information is appreciated!

I always go directly to the restaurant’s page to reserve dining/search availability. I was able to make a reservation for the lounge last week but it was 60+8. If I’m doing reservations on my laptop, I will have a window/tab open to each restaurant I’m looking to book in order of importance/demand and just go down the tabs. If I’m booking on the app, I use the search bar to go to the specific restaurant/location to book, click the arrow back and search again.

When we booked recently I just used the main search(60+9). But recent reports are showing no lounge res popping up prior to 60+8. Also don't forget its only up to 4ppl. If you need to search higher than that nothing will ever show.

I had three devices open on the Lounge page when our window opened and secured two times. Chose our preferred time of 11.30am. I had them written down in order of importance, and once I had that I moved onto the rest, again individually and not 'lunch' or 'dinner', although others may have had luck that way.

Thanks everyone! We’re just a group of three so I figured try it out now since our group is smaller. I’ll use this advice and keep my fingers crossed! It’s our top one and the others aren’t too in demand so I can try once or twice and then move on. We won’t be super bummed not to go, but it would be cool!

You may already know this, but not everyone does: If you try for a party of 3 and the system says there’s no availability, try for a party of 4. It’s a well known glitch that the system doesn’t like odd numbered parties, and there is no penalty for showing up with fewer people than you reserved for (as long as at least one person shows up).

This is a great reminder! I did that once with an Oga’s reservation, but haven’t really thought of it since then.

Is this saying that I cannot book a ressie at the Space 220 lounge for 6 people? I should look for 2 ressie for 4/2 or 3/3?

Definitely 4/2. There are significantly more 2 tops than 4s. Start with the 4 and you'll hopefully be able to tack on a 2 at a similar time. Trying to book two 4 tops would be significantly more difficult.

Also, are you familiar with how to book two ADRs close together in time? You need a second adult in the party linked to you in MDE. Book the 4, when you get to the part of indicating who is on the reservation, assign it to the other adult. Once you complete the first ADR, you'll still be able to search for the 2 in your account. When you do this, the other adult has control over changing/canceling/checking into the 4 top.

I use my husband's account as the second for this. He's got one of our two lounge reservations and, another day, a duplicate lunch (we haven't decided where we want to be yet) so that we can hold multiples near the same time.

I've been trying for weeks to get an ADR for the week of 9/11-9/18 for 2 at either the lounge or restaurant with ZERO luck. this is our second trip with ZERO luck getting space 220. It's almost annoying.

Thank you so much... I didn't know this so thank you for the tutorial! My dining ressie day is this week. My Husband and I are going with our son, his wife and 2 kids. So I should make the 4 in DIL's mde? and the 2 in my mde? OR both in my mde with my husband assigned to one and me the other? Between all 6 of us we have 2 mde's. Please and thank you!

So, I'm not 100% familiar with this scenario as I only manage children who can't be the lead on an ADR. But, I *think* if you have an adult account that is managed by you, then that account can't make ADRs either. Maybe?

You can try making any ADR right now on your browser, get to the screen to assign guests, and see if it lets you proceed. You have to do it on a browser; the app doesn't give you the change option. Once you get to the spot where you say who is on the reservation, the drop down menu will gray-out any ineligible people. See if your husband is an available selection or if he's gray.

Anyone that's in black on that screen can be assigned lead. When you go to book, you can stay logged into your account the whole time. You make the 4 top first, assign someone else as the lead when you get to that screen, then keep going to make the two and keep yourself the lead on the second reservation.

Whoever is lead on the 4 top is the one who gets the confirm email, can modify/cancel etc. But, it'll still be visible in your plans since you're linked.

As above, set another adult in the party to manage the first ADR you make (DiL since she has her own MDE) and leave yourself as the manager of the second. FYI it doesn’t matter which guests are listed on each ADR - Disney doesn’t care who sits where. In fact, you don’t have to list anyone other than the lead guest on each ADR. The important thing is to have everyone there 10-15 minutes early, check in with the CM, not via MDE, let them know you’re together and would like to be seated as close together as possible, then be patient while they do their best.
