getting a refund from skyauction...... who has done it?

I remember reading on here that some have gotten a refund from skyauction since the inventory has gone .........
& that they have since changed the rules , with most of the propertys you now have to pay extra for, listing most inventory last minute.

who has done this successfully, what did you say to them?

I was able to get a refund from Skyauction earlier this year. I needed accommodations for 3 adults and 2 children. After I purchased the certificate only smaller one bedrooms were available for the timeperiod I needed. I called customer service within 24 hours of receiving the certificate and explained this to them. They gladly refunded my money with no problems.

I also got a refund. When I purchased my certificates, they had 3 bedrooms available. By the time they emailed my certificate (3 days later) the 3 bedrooms were gone and there was no way I was cramming 6 people into a 2 bedroom for 12 days. They were very helpful and refunded my money much quicker than I thought they would. Good luck!

I got a refund twice..once on an auction a few years ago that turned out not to be what they advertised (unit was not there) and just this past summer on a certificate. I have tried in vain to get a refund on my last certificate since they changed the rules totally (and now charge extra for most units) and they will not refund me my money since I "activated" the certificate. I had called to see availability because the site was not working & that activated my cerificate Now I have one that more than likely I will not be able to use since they now do not have units during peak time (and that is the only time frame I can go). I just hung up the phone from them too.. still no units for anytime frames I can go.... $179 plus their $20 processing fee down the tubes for me I think...
