getting a credit on an airfare

I just bought tickets on US Airways, If they go on sale how to I get a refund and a better ticket ,these were non refundable. I think I am out of luck.
Still not too bad of a price.

The only airline I know of that provides you with a credit is South West, (I currently have a $212 credit with them, though I purchased a non refundale flight--when I prices dropped I called their customer service and rebooked at the lower fare--the difference is held as credit which I have a year to use), however, it doesn't hurt to called their customer service line.
