I know many of you have posted positive reviews about GetAwayToday.com...can anyone explain how they work as far as the hotel reservation goes? Does their price include the resort fees and taxes? Do I just show up at the hotel and have the reservation in my name just as if I had booked the travel myself?

I booked my upcoming trip thru them because a friend of mine uses them all the time. When I started researching prices for my trip, and compiled prices, taxes, etc. I had a ballpark idea of what it would cost. I used the GAT.com site and found a comparable hotel, DLR park hoppers, etc. and it was less expensive than my "a la carte" way because it included taxes, plus the hotel room rate was better.
I booked it all online, and got a confirmation email right away. In the mail I received a large envelope w/ Disneyland stuff all over it. I got a one sheet voucher that says basically, this is your ticket to get your hotel reservation and park tickets, don't loose it. So I guess I turn that in to the hotel and they hand over our DLR tix. HTH!

It works somewhat like that. You have a hotel voucher. That is good for the hotel. You need to claim your DL tickets at one of the ticket booths in the common area between DL and DCA. You need your ID, whoever ordered the tickets. They are reserved in that name. Just present your ID to the person at the ticket booth and you will receive your tickets.

We have used getawaytoday.com on every trip and have had no problems!

my family and I used GAT every time we go to disneyland and have not been dissapointed yet. we have even used it to book without time to recieve anything in the mail so we just used our ID, if there are any problems when you arrive you call GAT and they will practically do whatever they can to get everything taken care of ASAP...we love it!
